About Us

Know Your Worth Kids.

What we believe:

Love is to be expressed by the parent/guardian and received by the child. It may sound easy, but we must remember that there are certain modes of expressing love that your child may be more responsive to. Moreover, the ones your child may currently be more responsive to may constantly change as he/she ages. In expressing love to our children, the following can be employed:

  • Physical touch: Showing physical affection through hugs, kisses, holding hands and patting your child's back. This communicates safety to your child, and a sense of trust is created.
  • Words of affirmation: Verbal expressions of love and compliments. When expressing these words, do so with a soft tone and with a smile on your face. Say it like you mean it, or else, your child won't buy it.
  • Quality time: Giving your child undivided attention. It creates an environment in which the child can communicate their thoughts, feelings and issues that may be bothering them. You can create time for your children by having bedtime stories, doing house chores together, shopping together, eating meals together, camping trips, date nights and family walks.
